Activities

Our goal is to maximize activity involvement by offering a wide variety of programming to keep each resident functioning at their highest level possible in all aspects of life--physical, psychological, social and spiritual. Our activity programming includes large groups of parties and programs of entertainment and enrichment. Small groups enjoy exercise, discussion, culinary, crafts, art classes and games. Intergenerational programming brings in elementary students each month as well as university student who visit and each summer young volunteers who serve. Our residents spiritual needs are met with worship services provided two times per week, Bible studies weekly and memorial services. Bird aviaries can be seen in several common areas and a resident cat helps give MMH the feeling of home. One to one visits are welcomed by residents whose physical abilities have declined and are no longer able to be a part of group programming. Outings are taken each month with visits to points of interest, lunch dates, country drives and shopping. Residents families are invited to special events throughout the year. Our residents will find themselves very active and engaged in life.
