One 11-bed unit is available for persons suffering from Alzheimer's disease or having Alzheimer-like symptoms. Licensed professional nurses provide close supervision and aid 24 hours a day.

In addition, both special units have their own daily activities, sunroom and dining areas. Off Evergreen Hall there is a patio and access to Sycamore Garden.
