One 11-bed unit is available for persons suffering from Alzheimer's disease or having Alzheimer-like symptoms. Licensed professional nurses provide close supervision and aid 24 hours a day.

In addition, the special unit has their own daily activities, sunroom and dining areas. Off Evergreen Hall there is a patio and access to Sycamore Garden.

Mennonite Home hosts an Alzheimer support care group the third Monday of each month (except Dec.) The group meets in the Chapel, for more information call 419-358-1015.
