Rehabilitation Services
Rehabilitation Services Rehabilitation services are provided by licensed professionals for those residents who require them.  Mennonite Memorial Home offers a wide range of rehabilitation options. 

Physical Therapy:
Physical therapy is designed to provide residents with appropriate treatments in exercise, range-of-motion, coordination and other rehabilitation functions. It is often prescribed to patients following surgical procedures, accident or traumatic injury, and to aid in strengthening and reconditioning following extended illness or inactivity.

Speech Therapy:
Speech therapy is designed to not only improve the ability of an individual to speak, but also to restore control over language, eating, writing and cognitive links between these functions. It is often prescribed for individuals who have suffered traumatic illness or injury, or who have certain brain disorders.


Occupational Therapy:

Occupational therapy is designed to assist individuals to perform tasks that may be used on a day-to-day basis either in an occupation or in the home. Occupational therapy is useful in preparing an individual for returning to a home setting after an extended period of convalescence.
